Terry Brennan is the managing partner of the BRENNAN LEGAL GROUP PLLC which is a business and intellectual property transactions firm that focuses on working with entrepreneurs, investors, emerging and mid-size businesses to commercialize innovation and reward capital risk. The firm offers cost efficient, practical and creative legal advice to many technology, digital media, simulation, manufacturing, health information systems and energy-related companies in general business, mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, shareholder and partnership matters, joint ventures, financing, securities, intellectual property, entertainment and private equity transactions.
Prior to establishing the Brennan Legal Group PLLC, Terry Brennan practiced in New York with Seward & Kissel and Donovan Leisure Newton & Irvine where he represented Fortune 100 companies in corporate, trade regulation and intellectual property matters, and also, was active in New York’s technology and emerging company community. He came to Florida in 1993 as the Vice President and General Counsel of a health information systems joint venture formed by IBM and Baxter, and upon the sale of that company, joined Holland & Knight, and subsequently, Roetzel & Andress, as a partner.
Terry has been an early and significant leader and lecturer in Central Florida’s economic development, business incubation, technology, and private equity communities. He attended Georgetown University Law Center where he was an editor of the Georgetown Law Journal. He is a member of the New York and Florida Bars, and also, is active in many community, economic development and charitable groups.
